Next the installer relays those measurements to Dawn, one of our most valuable players here in the office. It’s her job to take that information and prepare your order’s initial quote.
This quote then goes to Glenn, our owner. He double-checks it to ensure its accuracy.
When Glenn signs off, Dawn sends the order to the window manufacturer. During this next phase of the process, we’re waiting just like you.
Generally speaking, we know what turnaround times to expect for different types of windows. That’s especially true for non-custom orders.
But there’s no hard and fast formula. So we all practice a bit of patience as we anticipate the arrival of the completed windows.
Once your windows are in, we can schedule your installation date. The last step in the process is the installation itself.

Why not? A range of factors can alter your expected timeline. As a rule, these are factors out of our direct control.
For example, delays in the factory can slow down our process.
The same holds true for a long run of bad weather in our sometimes unpredictable regional climate. We’re also busier certain times of the year than others.
While we don’t call and bug you with every little update, if you call us, we’ll provide as much information as we can on what to expect. And on the typical project, our estimates are highly reliable.
But significant delays occasionally occur. It doesn’t matter if those delays aren’t up to us. We owe it to you to let you know what’s happening and why.
